Hong Kong and Taiwan are still much better than mainland. Check out their income level and social welfare. If Taiwan and Hong Kong are free to go to settle down for mainlanders, where do you think people will choose to live?

In the whole world, which country's government will put its citizen homeless overnight? Boxun reported too many cases, the homes were destroyed after the owners left for work, or invited to talk by the officials. Their personal belongings are buried in the debris. In a system that power can abuse people's property freely, when officials use power to do business and make profit, I do not think it will encourage a good value. It will not be a creative society either.
